He was the benchmark of speed against which all other drivers set themselves – and the man that everyone from Formula One World Champion Nigel Mansell to Jenson Button tried and failed to beat. Ben has competed successfully in almost every class imaginable, from Formula 3 and Le Mans 24 Hour to American stock car racing. Jackie Stewart was blown away watching a young Ben winning a Formula 3 race, commenting, “When you see the likes of Ben Collins in Formula One, remember you saw them here first.” It was, however, the moment Ben disguised himself in white suit and helmet, that he became instantly recognisable. In addition to being a championship-winning racing driver, Ben is also a Hollywood stunt driver, world record breaker, TV presenter, best-selling author and motoring icon. He’s worked on a plethora of blockbuster titles including four James Bond films where he was the stunt double for Daniel Craig, as well as Star Wars, Transformers and Fast & Furious.
