The Venue

The inaugural Motor Trader Retailing Expo takes place on 17 October at Northamptonshire's famed Silverstone circuit. Set in the heart of England, Silverstone became the home of the British Grand Prix in 1948, after formerly serving as an RAF base in World War II.

Since then, it's been non stop for Silverstone. An international conference and exhibition centre with all things motoring at the root of everything they do, it makes for the perfect venue to hold Motor Traders newest event. 

How will you be travelling?

Silverstone is centrally located within the UK and is very accessible for all.

It boasts exceptionally easy access, just 60 mins from Birmingham along the A43 dual carriageway from the M1 motorway.

The M40 Motorway is less than 15 miles away.

Its just a 90 minute drive from London

There is free parking for up to 1000 vehicles at the venue.

If travelling by cab - the drop off point at the circuit is now located in car park 25 behind the Silverstone UTC via Silverstone Village using Winterhills lane.

Guests can enjoy easy access from several international airports, with excellent transport links across the UK.

For international visitors, London Luton is the nearest at approx 30 miles away, and Birmingham and other East Midlands Terminals all within drive time.

London Heathrow is under 50 miles away from Silverstone Circuit.

Wolverton is Silverstone's closest station at approximately 10 miles (16km) away from the circuit, offering direct train services to London Euston, Birmingham New Street and Northampton Rail Stations.

Venue FAQs 

Silverstone has 12 Papilio3 charging points at the back of the paddock by the Wing, which can be used at a first come, first served basis.

Payment for use of these charging points can be made via the Fuuse App, or by scanning a QR code on the charge point screen on site.

The fees are £0.60/kWh.

The Wing is fully accessible, with lifts reaching all levels.

The Hilton which guests will enter the event through has disabled parking spaces outside the building, as well as a ramp to access the hotel.

No children are permitted at the event.

Guide dogs only are permitted at the event. Please notify atma.hyett@emap.com where at all possible if arrangements for a guide dog are required.
